On September 12th, 4 RJM novices took their final vows in Lahore, Pakistan: Srs. Uzma Siddique (left) Yvonne Waris, Suneeta Saleem, and Nusrat Sadiq, RJM.
Gathering on Saturday, September 19th, the RJM of the MD/DC region prayed and celebrated with Brittany Galvin as she officially began her time of Postulancy.

It is with shock and deep sadness that the whole community of Jean Rabel heard of the sudden death of “Berde” Douglas Langeroy on the 26th of August 2020.
August 15th was a Red-Letter Day at St. Timothy’s Convent. The community joined with Sr. Priscilla to celebrate her 60th anniversary of Religious Profession.
On Saturday, August 8, the Sisters at the Jesus and Mary Mission Center attended the long-awaited Funeral Mass for Sr. Carmel Ethier and Sr. Clarice Dionne at St. Martha’s Church in Plainville, MA.
Netflix has a new docuseries, Immigration Nation, which premiered Monday, August 3. Filmmakers Shaul Schwarz and Christina Clusiau were embedded with immigration officers, and the series allows viewers to peer into the secretive agencies waging the war on immigrants.
The recent news that St. John’s was among the 20 schools being closed by the Archdiocese of New York came as a shock to many, including numerous RJM who had been students, teachers or administrators. Archdiocesan officials cited the impact of the current pandemic as the immediate cause of the decision to close, saying that the health concerns and unemployment consequent upon Covid-19 have led to a low rate of re-registration.
