WSG STUDENT SPEAKS TO ASTRONAUT

This past week, Washington School for Girls 8th grade student, Genesis Lipscombe, was on a live NASA video chat seen by students around the country, as she spoke to an astronaut in space, who is working in the International Space Station. ABC7 news reported on the event and these pictures are from their news report.

13-year-old Genesis Lipscombe asked Astronaut and physician Dr. Drew Morgan, “When and why did you decide to become a doctor and an astronaut?”

Dr. Morgan responded, “I decided that I wanted to be a soldier first and then I decided I wanted to be a physician.”
