SOAR! HONORS SR. MARY BOURDON, RJM
On Friday November 2nd, Sr. Mary Bourdon, RJM was honored with the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Award, by SOAR! (Support Our Aging Religious). Award recipients have distinguished themselves through their leadership and generosity in the Catholic community in the spirit of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.
The awards banquet was held at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, DC. Leon Harris, from station NBC4, was the Master of Ceremonies and Msgr. John J. Enzler, the President and CEO of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington DC, was the auctioneer.
The law firm of Jones Day received the Saint Katharine Drexel Award. Shown are Sr. Kathleen Lunsmann, IHM, Sr. Mary Bourdon, RJM, Michael Shumaker of Jones Day, and Kathleen Curran of Soar!.
