Summer news from Jean Rabel

During this last month, July, in Jean Rabel, we have been very busy. Sister Nazareth and the woman in the atelye have been working as always and have had some formation about domestic violence.

We have had also two new summer camps. One was about learning art. Some of the old pupils from Gros-Morne’s atelye, designed a free two weeks course to teach the local children how to paint. They wished to give free what they have learned and received themselves from sister Nazareth about art and being a person.

With Paloma’s help (our one year volunteer), they had around 20 student ages 7 to 15 years old from 8.15 am to 11.45 am.

They got them started on painting materials, colors and shapes. They showed them how nice is to discover how you can make reality come up by drawing, painting.

Thanks for their effort. God bless them and what these children have learned…
