{"id":843,"date":"2020-01-15T12:58:58","date_gmt":"2020-01-15T17:58:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rjm.local\/bridges-january-10-2020\/"},"modified":"2020-01-15T12:58:58","modified_gmt":"2020-01-15T17:58:58","slug":"bridges-january-10-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rjmusa.org\/es\/puentes-10-de-enero-de-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Puentes, 10 de enero de 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong><em>SEGUIMIENTO DEL ART\u00cdCULO ALIMENTACI\u00d3N PARA GALLINAS GROS MORNE<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La semana pasada informamos sobre el molino y mezclador de ma\u00edz que ahora se utilizan en el gallinero de Campeche (Gros Morne) para producir alimento para nuestras 1,000 gallinas.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien la raz\u00f3n principal para producir nuestros propios piensos es reducir costes, otra ventaja es ayudar a la econom\u00eda agr\u00edcola local comprando ma\u00edz a los agricultores vecinos e introduciendo el cultivo de soja.<\/p>\n<p>SIN EMBARGO TAMBI\u00c9N HAY UN BENEFICIO AMBIENTAL QUE QUEREMOS DESTACAR: El aspecto maravilloso y \u00fanico de este molino y mezclador de ma\u00edz es que funcionan con energ\u00eda de paneles solares en el techo del gallinero. Esto elimina el uso de di\u00e9sel o gasolina y reduce a\u00fan m\u00e1s los costos.<\/p>\n<p>La inversi\u00f3n inicial fue alta: gracias a la Hna. Pat Reid, OSF, los RJM recibieron una generosa subvenci\u00f3n de los franciscanos de Allegheny para los paneles solares, el inversor, el molino y el mezclador.<\/p>\n<p>La historia de fondo es que cuando est\u00e1bamos investigando molinos y mezcladores de ma\u00edz, mi hermano Philip (RIP) sugiri\u00f3 la energ\u00eda solar mientras est\u00e1bamos hablando por Skype. Dijo que lo estaba mirando &quot;como si tuviera dos cabezas&quot;, y as\u00ed era. \u00a1Hasta donde yo sab\u00eda, nadie en Hait\u00ed ten\u00eda un molino y una mezcladora con energ\u00eda solar! Phil hizo su investigaci\u00f3n y encontr\u00f3 un molino de ma\u00edz con energ\u00eda solar fabricado en Espa\u00f1a que hab\u00eda sido comprado por una parroquia estadounidense para su parroquia hermana en la Meseta Central y enviado en el contenedor mar\u00edtimo del Programa de Hermanamiento. Al final, nosotros en Gros Morne decidimos comprar el molino de ma\u00edz y los paneles solares en Puerto Pr\u00edncipe y compramos la mezcladora (en realidad, una mezcladora de cemento) en una parroquia vecina.<\/p>\n<p>Mil gracias a los franciscanos de Allegheny y a nuestros muchos otros colaboradores. \u00a1Que el sol siga brillando!<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Hna.
