ATELIER THEVENET CELEBRATES YEAR-END
Last week we had the feast to celebrate the end of this year in the women’s sewing workshop, Atelier Thevenet!
As you can see, we have a big group of children and teenagers and two teachers who were past workers in the little Atelier. Below is Sr. Nazareth Ybarra sitting with two of the ladies who are in training in the Atelier.
It is a beautiful experience for the young students. They come Mondays and Thursdays, from 2 to 4 p.m. They learn what will be useful to them in the future and also have the opportunity to socialize with students from different schools. They learn punctuality, patience and also have a lot of fun!
Below you can see examples of their extraordinary embroidery work which will be sold so that the women can have some income from their work.
Happy holidays to them!!!
