The Religious of Jesus and Mary have ministered along the USA-Mexico border for many years. Ministries have included schools, residences, and other projects in Texas, and California.
Today, the RJM in San Diego are part of an inter-congregational community and are participating in the Sisters Collaborative for Border Ministries with women religious from 11 other congregations.

The RJM Border Ministry to Migrants has worked with Catholic Charities and Jewish Family Services on the USA side of the border and Madre Asunta shelter and Casa de Los Pobres on the Tijuana side.

This initiative is supported by the UISG (International Union of Superiors General), the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, and many individuals and groups through donations to the congregations of sisters involved in the collaborative. You can support the RJM Border Ministry to Migrants through prayer and with financial assistance.
