THIRD RESPONSE TO EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN HAITI
Sr. Farzana Phillips, RJM (on left wearing a mask) has written from Haiti to give an update on the continuing plight of those affected by last August’s magnitude 7.2 earthquake.
The people continue to be in need.
This need is compounded by the current instability and lack of security in the country together with an acute gasoline shortage, all of which make it difficult to deliver help. Nonetheless, most recently, some 100 packages containing food and baby diapers were recently given to the parish of Toiree.
The ICM and RJM sisters are deeply grateful to donors whose generous help has enabled them to support the earthquake victims.
