MAKING SOAP AT ATELIER THEVENET – Jean Rabel, Haiti
At the Atelyer Thevenet, we do not work all the time. We also have some fun times!
Formation is an important part of learning. Learning new things can help us in our daily life and sometimes can start a new way of earning money for our families.
This time, we enjoyed a course about how to make soap. It’s a soap to clean clothes. Here, people wash by hand, in the river and at home.
There was some theory but mostly it was practice.
It was a nice day to break the routine, get to know each other better and also feel we are one group.
The women were delighted !!!
Now we have to wait four days for the soap to set to see how it works !!!
